I am a full-time PhD student in geotechnical engineering at Zhejiang University's College of Civil Engineering and Architecture. My current work focuses on low-field NMR characterization of pore-scale carbonate dissolution patterns, combined with reactive transport simulation to understand coupled flow-solid evolution in porous media. I have also contributed to multi-source data fusion and machine-learning prediction for acid mine drainage.
Selected Projects
I highlight three representative undergraduate-stage experiences here: national innovation training, patent work, and a later extension into data engineering practice.
During my undergraduate study, I participated in a national innovation training project, working through problem definition, literature review, solution design, and final report preparation. This helped me build early awareness of research projects and engineering problem decomposition.
I participated in a utility model patent focused on drainage and noise reduction in underground engineering scenarios. The process trained me to identify engineering pain points, develop structural concepts, and organize transformation materials.
I wrote eight crawler programs and collected more than 150,000 journal records. I am familiar with Python crawler tools such as requests, Selenium, and BeautifulSoup, and can organize data resources from different types of websites.
Education
I am currently a full-time PhD student, continuing research training around geotechnical engineering problems while building skills in academic research, data organization, and engineering analysis.
During my undergraduate years, I completed systematic coursework in urban underground space engineering, was recognized as an outstanding graduate of Sichuan Province, and participated in student leadership, research training, and social practice.
I passed CET-4 and CET-6 as well as the National Computer Rank Examination Level 2. I am familiar with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and can use Python for crawling and data organization.

I am coupling pore-scale reactive transport simulation with nuclear magnetic resonance simulation to quantitatively distinguish face dissolution, wormholing, and channeling patterns in carbonates, using T2 distribution evolution to understand pore coupling, fluid exchange, and main-flow-path breakthrough.
Wu X.; Chen Z.; Wang B.; Luo Y.; Du A.; Wang Q.; Bate B. Water 2025, 17(18), 2661. I participated in this study, which integrates water quality, geological, and climate-history parameters and uses RF, XGBoost, and SVM to predict Fe, Cu, and Zn concentrations.
This conference poster corresponds to my main PhD research direction. I am coupling reactive transport and NMR simulation frameworks to identify face dissolution, wormholing, and channeling through T2 distribution evolution.
My research training covers pore-scale numerical simulation, low-field NMR signal interpretation, environmental geotechnical modeling, and multi-source data processing. I hope to apply these skills to geological CO2 storage, karst formation, acidizing stimulation, and mine-environment risk prediction.
